The D203 officials in Illinois have officially dropped a proposal to build cell towers at two schools within the district. The negotiations with AT&T to build the towers at Kennedy Junior High in nearby Lisle and Lincoln Junior High in Naperville fell through after AT&T opted to turn the project over to a third-party vendor last month.
